BizKidz is a a before and after school program designed to teach children about financial literacy and business where learning becomes fun.
At BizKidz, children will learn how to spend and save their money as well as how to make it grow in the stock market and through entrepreneurship. They will learn to create opportunities and develop their passions, turning them into successful business ideas.
According to an April 15, 2015 article from Entrepreneur Magazine, "K-12 schools have remained stagnant and as a result, they are not graduating the doers, makers and cutting-edge thinkers the world needs." http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/245038
At BizKidz, we believe that if we can introduce our children to entrepreneurship at an early age, then we can improve the chances of them building wealth and creating savings and investing habits when they enter into the workforce.
The earlier children are exposed to life skills, the better their chances of mastering those skills. Just like taking a foreign language. A child learning French or Spanish in 1st grade has a better chance of mastering the language than a child that starts in 12th grade. That's why we created Baltimore BizKidz.
Baltimore BizKidz offers kids from 3rd grade to 12th grade an opportunity to learn financial literacy and entrepreneurship through lessons in running a business and investing in the stock market. The Baltimore BizKidz will take place in the Stock Market Game where they will compete against their peers both locally and nationally. The Stock Market Game is a great way to teach your child about building wealth through the stock market and investing.
